community meal coordinator & cook, sunny’s kitchen

We are looking for a reliable person who will provide our Sunny’s Kitchen community meal with continuity, building on the welcoming, friendly and intergenerational weekly meal currently established. 

Do you have experience running community projects, preferably food based? Are you a great ‘from scratch’ cook with a keen interest in local, sustainable food and reducing food waste? Are you an enthusiastic and friendly person who would be keen to get to know the wonderful group of people who make this such an enjoyable weekly event?

This part-time job is a two-year self-employed position starting at the end of May, based in central Dunbar. Sunny’s Kitchen is a weekly community meal, cooked from scratch using as much surplus food as possible.
